Yes, possible that there is a group of people who would benefit from a one-government rule of the world. People point this out as a '1984' scenario. But I go back to the saying; You can't get 5 people to agree to order one thing off a menu in a restaurant...how the heck would a group be able to agree on how to rule the world? It would/could occur for a brief while..but it would be fractious and war to follow. It is the allure of the “world domination” fairytale.
